do you find there is difference between a male charmer seducing female and female charmer seducing male?
even in example of benjamin disraeli and pamela churchil, what differences you note?
using same strategies won't work ??
disreali mostly used flattery, making queen desirable, feminine, comparing her to elizabeth 1, prasing her with other courtiers, agreeing with her ideas, etc
pamela used making him feel funny, listening to him, laughing at his jokes, cooking his favorite dishes, making his friends feel great at party, etc
both used the same strategy, which is making the target feel great about themselves, but it is done differently (maybe its because of different circumstanance)
if pamela used the flattery, compliments, and letters. it probebly wouldnt have an effect on hariman. since, man don't really have much weakness for words, and also we mostly don't have insecuity about desirability like that of a woman, like that of victoria. Also we want to feel as if we are the one who is great at complimenting and flattering. we want to feel we are wittiest guy in the world
just wondering, since we men and women are obiously different, we have different insecuriites, needs and wants.
for example- female rake probebly won't work for seducing a man, it would be creepy, man would feel pasive and unmasculine.
also what is confusing about the The art of seduction is that Greene mixed everything up, he didnt show much difference between man and woman in 24 strategies, leaving to the reader to understand by themselves.. using physical lures chapter is confusing
The rake and the siren are the only gender based chapters
