Thanks for the replies and ideas. This is not going to be an easy manipulation or seduction from the start. The person in question has much more experience in these ideas than i do, even if they don't always realize it.

Common Tactics they employ to manipulate me:

1) Taking a pretended high ground that does not represent their true belief in order than i might move closer to that ideal. This can and has been both moral and material.

2) Emotional cover-up when things don't go the correct way or when a manipulation has been discovered. This makes a honest forthright approach to ending the manipulation impossible and thus my current idea.

3) Criticism designed to lower my self-worth.

Tactics i have begun utilizing:

1) Subtle Hints to in turn lower their self-esteem, which should be superior to the outright criticism being employed by them

2) Ideal Lover - I have begun taking on some of the characteristics they find attractive including cultural things as well as romantic things. This will appear to be an agreement with their ideals on my part even though it is designed for precisely the opposite purpose.

Any other thoughts?
